INSTALLATIONS - Rooms

Growing up in South Pasadena next door to San Marino where the rich people lived, I rode my bike to the Huntington Museum and fantasized that the ‘period rooms’ and gardens were mine. Through my Art Lover’s Tours and European travels, I’ve visited palazzi and villas hung with extravagant tapestries and chandeliers that dwarf their surroundings. Though the chandeliers are full of sparkle and glitter, the rooms are often in disrepair, poignant reminders of better times and former inhabitants.
